From attic to home.
The barn conversion of “A Kréiesch” in Ellange (Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg) is visibly progressing, with visualisations giving way to the real thing.
As architects, we are responsible for the barn conversion in Ellange, a building dating back to 1822, on behalf of the Municipality of Mondorf-les-Bains. Behind the retained façade, a great deal has happened in recent months.
Comparing then and now says it all: two social housing units upstairs are almost finished, while a brasserie is being fitted out at ground level.
A piece of local history is thus preserved and given a contemporary purpose.
We are already delighted with what has been achieved so far, not least thanks to good cooperation with the client.
