Wunnen Magazine features Spilly Luxembourg in issue 97, April/May 2026: BELVEDERE Architecture developed a colourful 700 m² experience world for children – with role-play areas, a reception zone and a distinctive spatial identity.

Wunnen Magazine features Spilly Luxembourg in issue 97, April/May 2026. The project presents a colourful experience world for children, with an interior design developed by BELVEDERE Architecture.

At City Concorde in Bertrange, around 700 m² were transformed into a child-friendly mini-city with role-play areas, a reception zone, birthday rooms and a lounge for parents. Across the different play areas, everyday situations, professions and small stories become spatial experiences – playful, intuitive and child-friendly.

The interior design by BELVEDERE Architecture translates Spilly Luxembourg’s pedagogical concept into space. Themed areas such as a crèche, supermarket, restaurant, fire station and airplane create an immersive environment that supports imagination, movement, social learning and role-play.

The reception area, with integrated lockers, clear wayfinding and a distinctive wooden tree, forms the central point of orientation. Robust materials, safe circulation routes and a harmonious colour concept ensure that the interior remains functional, durable and emotionally engaging.

With Spilly Luxembourg, BELVEDERE Architecture shows how interior design for children can make a pedagogical concept visible and tangible in space. The feature in Wunnen Magazine offers insight into a design that transformed an open area into an independent, lively and child-friendly experience world.
