Focus on TIMBER.
Timber construction is currently gaining more attention in our work. In dialogue with an experienced partner, we are exploring wood as a resource, a material and a path toward sustainable architecture.
The current summer heat shows how strongly buildings, streets and public spaces influence daily comfort. Shade, greenery and natural cooling are no longer secondary aspects, but essential elements for healthier urban environments.
From there, the question quickly becomes broader: how do we design spaces that respond better to environmental conditions, material responsibility and human well-being?
In this context, timber offers a valuable perspective. As a natural, renewable building material, it combines technical potential with spatial quality. Used carefully, it can create calm and comfortable atmospheres while supporting more sustainable construction.
At BELVEDERE Architecture, this subject is currently receiving closer attention. Through exchange with an experienced partner from our professional network, we are looking at its role as resource, design opportunity and contribution to climate-conscious architecture.
