BELVEDERE Architecture and Partner und Partner combine in-depth knowledge of the Luxembourg market with specialist timber construction expertise to create economical, flexible and resource-conscious buildings.
Sustainable timber construction with local expertise
Building in Luxembourg today means bringing together quality, economic viability, usability and climate requirements. BELVEDERE Architecture and Partner und Partner Architektur combine complementary expertise to meet these challenges: BELVEDERE contributes market knowledge, experience and an established network in Luxembourg. Partner und Partner adds in-depth expertise in sustainable timber construction and circular design.
For clients, this combination provides a strong basis for reliable planning processes, budget-conscious decisions and buildings designed for long-term use.
Timber construction: efficient and resource-conscious
Timber is a renewable building material that can combine climate protection, resource conservation and quality of life. With a high degree of prefabrication, timber construction enables efficient processes. At the same time, it creates pleasant, healthy and contemporary spaces.
BELVEDERE stands for functional and flexible architecture that is prepared for future change. Partner und Partner extends this approach with expertise in life-cycle assessment, environmental impact assessment, circular construction and building resource passports. Depending on the project, requirements relating to the EU Taxonomy, ESG criteria and the CRREM pathway can also be taken into account.
Two offices, complementary perspectives
BELVEDERE Architecture designs new-build and renovation projects in Luxembourg across the office, workspace, residential, childcare and hospitality sectors. Its approach combines architecture, interior design and urban planning with efficiency and budget control.
Partner und Partner Architektur contributes many years of experience in timber construction as well as resource-conscious and circular building concepts. The starting point for this exchange was the Woodscraper in Wolfsburg: a planned residential high-rise made of timber and straw, demonstrating how renewable materials can be used in demanding architectural projects.
Projects that demonstrate expertise
The office presentation features selected references from both architecture practices: from the renovation of the Landewyck Building in Luxembourg-Hollerich and the IEE Headquarters + R&D Campus in Bissen to timber construction projects such as the multi-family residential building in Brühl near Heidelberg and the Blueberry Inn children’s and youth centre in Berlin-Neukölln.
These projects demonstrate experience across different scales and uses, from offices and housing to educational and childcare facilities.
Our Brochure
Further information about both practices, their expertise and selected projects is available in their joint presentation (the brochure is currently available in German only. French and English versions are in preparation):
